Howdy Folks!
Welcome to your last blog of the year!
Can you believe we've been in this room together for 10 months? I know I can't. I'm so excited for summer to get here. For the first time in my adult life I'm going to have the WHOLE summer off. As in no college classes. No summer school. No work of any type. I'm VERY EXCITE! (Borat reference)
But . . . I've got lots of really good memories of this year. I can honestly say I've truly enjoyed our time together. So many of you guys have made me laugh. You guys have been a lot of fun. And we've gotten a lot done too. Think about everything we've been through . . . six weeks of drill and kill. Adobe Illustrator. Photoshop. InDesign. Audacity. Flash. Whew! Makes me tired just thinking about all that stuff.
And for you DGA people, lemme just say thanks for paving the way for this new AVP class that's coming. You guys have been willing to dive in and work out some of the bugs and I appreciate that.
So to honor our year together I thought I'd put together a list of stuff that's come out of my mouth this year. And also a list of stuff that's come out of some of your mouths too. Just for grins.
Out of my mouth:
1. I'm JUST sayin'
2. Get up or get out!
3. I don't have a magical answer to pull out of my butt for that.
4. I feel like poo.

1)@me in the morning when i say im tried (everyday ^^)- Yea and what else is new
2) My fav class momment would have to be a few wweeks ago, when you were all talking and sitting ina circle. You all looked like you were in a help group. It made it much more realistic by the fact that everybody was having a bad day ^^.
3) My advice- Come to class with an open mind. For CMAT- it is boring as hell in the beginning, but stick with it- it actulayy becomes fun. For DGA- Just do your work. It can be fun as long as Mrs. L is in a good mood (so keep her happy and bring her coffe)
Side note- I'm really gonna miss this class T^T. Mrs.L you have literally changed my life. You actually made me think about what i wanted to do for a career. So because of you- Im looking into colleges that have a computer graphics and photograpy course. Thank you so much for the awesome year and i will see you at 2011 graduation (Im gonna use my photography skills to get a picture of you crying ^.^)

My favevorite class memory would be when doing the interviews!! Monika and I played ninja!! And of course, DGA was always a blast. Yay momories!

My favorite memory is doing the retrospective project for our parents. My advice for next year students is not to waste time and always be prepared.

My most memorable moment in this class has been a chain of events. No matter what we were doing in class Colleen was yelled at for everything, and yet it was still funny. Though Morgan and I found that it was kind of sad, we just remembered that Colleen is Colleen and we will be able to laugh about it at least 5 seconds after the incident occurs. SORRY COLLEEN BUT IT WAS SO FUNNY AND IM GOING TO MISS YOU NEXT YEAR!

My favorite memory will probably be Ryan singing Party in the USA or when I told Morgan "You broke it." on the several times photoshop was being poopy.
OH and us making fun of Ryan's CREEPY obsession with his hairless cats!

@ Colleen . . . gack about the cats! How he can love those rat-looking thingys I will never understand.
And sorry I yelled at you a lot. But, ya know, if you'd do what you need to do instead of being a SOPHOMORE I wouldn't need to yell so much. LOL

My favorite memory in class is when we were working on flash. That was very fun to work with.
1) My personal favorite is soo when Taylor was showing those pictures of that Hotel somewhere in Greece where one night costs like $15,000,000,000 and Michael Jackson (RIP) always stayed there and there was the description that said that there was a separate hallway so the butler didn't have to bother you when he walked through the room, and you said, "Yeah cause I just really hate when my personal butler walks through and bothers me..."
2) Also, when I threatened Chance and you said, "Man Mia, you have the pearls, you just need some high heels and you could go over there and kick his butt!"
3) When that cover of "We are the World" came on the radio, and you said, "It sounds like Wyclef (sp?) John is on crack or something!!!"
4) Also, every single day has been my best memory...
Mrs. L, I'm going to miss you SOO much! I will miss this class because it has really made me discover that I REALLY love computer graphics and stuff like that. I never thought I would like this sort of stuff, but I have had SO much fun in this class this year. It was always what I looked forward to everysingle day. Thanks Mrs. L., for being totally, utterly, amazingly awesome!

My favorite class memory is the millions of times i have had Mrs. L come over to my computer to heflp with a rediculously simple problem. And the time i asked a stupid question and all she said was "Seth, PRESS F1!"
I am seriousley considering music editing as a career and am looking into schools with such a program. So in honor of this class I will be sure to call my professor and then boss over a million times to help me do random stuff (like boot up ^o^)
I also love it when someone neglects to log out so Mrs. L has us set there back ground to Opra. And the time when Ryan decided to set it as Justin Beiber and when asked why him he replyed "But Mrs. L...it's the Beib"
for the ppl who plain on being in this class next year. this a very fun class you learn lots of cool and new thing you never knew you could do. this is one class you want hate. i have had lots of fun in here and the things i have learn will always stay with me. ooo but mrs.L you forgot some every day when the 1st bell ring for lunch you always say breakfast and if we even look down u always say are you distracted cuz i can fix that. but i have had a good time and i will really miss u and this class
my favorite class memory was when dominique fell, it was hilarious. even when i think about it, it makes me laugh!!! :)
Famous Friday speeches, where did those go. And Mrs. L we should so blog about those spectacular falls of the years. Like mine which was a 5 out of 5! :-)

My favorite class memory was when the class was listening to my 5 song mix.First there was a country song and Cassidy was makin fun of it by singin "she thinks my tractors sexy" and Mrs.L told him i was gonna take off my heels and beat him up.Then when a sad song came on Mrs.L told me it better not make her cry or she'd be takin off her heels and beating me up.Then Cassidy was like "yea if you make her cry imma beat you up".Then Alecia was like "its ok Shanika im on your side"!
P.s Im gonna miss doing these blogs every week!! :(
Wow. so...last blog of the year, kinda sad, but also...i'm GRADUATING!! Bahahaha, sorry Mrs. L
1) I'm pretty sure Mrs. L has asked me about my phone like every day, and when i got a new one she yelled "I'm gonna smash it!" at me as soon as i walked in, and since i had no idea what she was talking about i was a little weirded out. hahaha
Also, i enjoy her commentary on my taste in music...haha and when she says "Im fixin to kill SOMEbody..."
2) Hm...favorite memory...i dont really know. I think its probably a combination of how on Day 1, Mrs. L decided she wasnt going to like Rudy and it was super obvious, and just joking around with her about how she's pretty much insane (but in a cool way?)

3) Advice i would give to next year's class...Deal with the beginning's "Drill-n-Kill," b/c when that's over you'll have fun...also, make sure you dont piss Mrs. L off, bc like she said "If she aint happy, aint no body gonna be happy!"
I'm gonna miss you Mrs. L, its been a fun year...Its kinda sad to be leaving...but at the same time, GRADUAAATION!! Hullo. Anyways, its been rad, and i enjoyed taking your class...the world could use more laid-back, chill teachers like you. Catch ya later Mrs. L!!

T-T is it really the last blog?!! that's so sad!! i'm gonna miss so much from this class...one quote i've heard countless times "Ahleya, quit paying attention to your nails and get to work"...another that mrs L told me after my little incident with mrs heath "boys will kill you, they're evil"...one of my favorite memories was when Shanika first killed Bob with the possessed rock in flash XD...the haunted computer Shanika had to yell at was funny
my advise for everybody is to never look back at the stuffs u did wrong, mistakes are made to be learn from so u can do better next time and dont ever reget the bad things you done juz move on and keep going forward cause if u worry about the mistakes you did you'll end in the same place and in the same position you were in, so once agin learn from your mistakes and keep movin forward strong
IDK theres alot of funny stuff that gos on in here, but the only one i can remember is the time that Mrs. L Dinosaur kicked cassidy. it was hoelarius >:) but my fav thing that was said is.... uhhhh.... well i dnt know realy. oh wait i got one "are you being distracted by something?" "than LISTEN!!!"

I guess I liked the flash animation the most. But mostly because it is something that I am familliar with.
My advice is if you dont pass this class your lazy & thats sad. So try.. && Sitting by neontay & his brother Travis go at it all the time yep yep..

One of my faveorite memories is when i had asked a really dumb question (which i didn't think it was dumb at the time) lol, but she gave me the funniest look and laughed and told me to quit doing drugs, preferibly around lunchtime! I thought that was really funny! and for next years class, you should NOT leave your brain at the door and always be prepared and DO NOT even think about laying you rhead down!!! (:

As for class memories, I really enjoyed dabbling in Flash when we did the (not a real grade but an extra grade) frame by frame stick man animation. Lotsa blood all around for those who did it ^w^
But my absolute FAVORITE memory was today, where I came in for just the last five minutes or so. ... Wait... we're still working on Music of My Life? *panicking**kidding- about this being my favorite memory, not about the panicking part. I really am panicking*

The Drill and Kill six weeks is the easy part!!! Im not creative why do we have to do so much creativity in making things!! Anyway my magazine cover is my favorite part of this class because im riding a pegacorn!! Anyway ive almost survieved this class as long as this last project doesn't kill (it most likely will though)
Has to be my favorite memory.

My alltime favorite memory in this class was Michael putting a random obnoxious star on his Christmas card project. It was so random, and it wasn't even Christmasy. I laughed so hard. And I advise for people next year - She knows you some of the stuff youre doing, just dont openly tell her that. Bad things happen.
My advise- be prepared when you come into this clas.Its better when you have your mind opened in this class and creative.
I think its still weired that i've been in a room full of guys for 10 months.Its funny just listening to what they have to say to eachother.This class has been the best even if im not good at it because i dont really have my mind opened.
i love the drill and kill also to you people who thought it sucked you guys suck kuz i would rather do that than some of the other things like heart man

I also enjoyed trying to convince monika that i was NOT a freashman the entire year...im just short for my age! :) (im pretty sure she still doesnt believe me)
I think my favorite thing we did in the class was the project for our parents, with the slide show of our lives. Sure, it was really time consuming, but now that we are doing stop animation (film, stop, film, stop, film, stop...ect.) it really makes me appreciate what we were doing before.

My favorite momment was when it was the moment of silence during 9/11 and Szu-Yung kept pointing at a picture of Osama on my screen and Mrs.L sent him out in the hallway then moved him across the roomXDXDXD

B. My favorite memories are from Mrs. L's mouth and towards Mrs. L. I loved the first time that Mrs. L told us she didn't have a magical answer to pull from her butt!! LoL The reason is everybody in 2nd period was like, "What the heck did you just say?" Also I like the days that I harrass Mrs. L and try to run her over.

my favorite class memory is goin to be when i get out.. jst tripin this class has been fun all the year and i am glad i took it for the last year im goin to be hear at high scholl(thank god) because if hadnt taken this class i would have been taking classes i wouldnt go to so thanks mrs. L for making this year a blast.

Manuel . . . I'm gonna need you to get your head outta your butt and not try to procrastinate your way through nursing school. And when you figure out how to do that, please share the info with your brother Andrew.
Brandon / Szu-Yung . . . Two words. Social Impropriety. Learn those words. Figure out their meaning. There are certain things we have to do go get along in a polite society. Recognizing a moment of silence (particularly on a date as important as 9/11) is just ONE of those things.
Cesar . . . I thought I smelled something burning!
Katy . . . I took him on the concrete, but he beat me in the hallway!
This class was one of the best i have had in some years. its always fun to come in here and not have to worry about much... but my favorite memory would have to be mrs L. yelling at other people when they do something wrong its funny to watch and to listen.

For all of the new students that will be coming to cmat remember always turn in you projects and assignments in on time even if you have to spend extra time in the classroom trust me it will be worth it takes lots of dedication but most of all have a good time
My favorite memory was looking at pictures on awkward family photos. I'm glad Mrs.L introduced me to the world of awkward pictures of family pictures and people at wal-mart!
And my advice would be not to waste a day or be absent when your final project is due in a couple days!!!

lol i think the funniest part of the year is when the left side of the room in 4th period looked up camel spiders lol, the look on Mrs. L's face was priceless! xD

Do not sleep! Don't try and be sneaky and sleep, Mrs. L caught me everytime and was not happy with me. And don't just sit there....done that once or twice as well.
My favorite memory, was everyone calling Shelby crazy and all other kinds of stuff, I kinda miss her and all the other kids from sevent period.
i think we all had a great year in Mrs. L's class one thing i remember was Mrs.L tellin me "alex, if you pull your phone out again im gonna take you outside and give you a beat down!"

use common sense cuz the word "impropriety" is similar to "improper" duhhhh....
