Hope you guys had a good Spring Break. I know I needed some downtime. We can make it to the end, right? RIGHT?!?
Shifting gear, lets talk a bit about up and coming technology for our homes. I LOVE this topic. I'm one of those house show geeks. I can watch HGTV for hours on end. I love seeing the trends in the home construction world.

I really like the laser vacuum cleaner. It is very efficient and useful. Plus it's good for people who are lazy like me.

i like the virtual view idea because you can put these panels anywhere on your wall and even on the ceiling and chooce a picture. so if you want a sky view in your apartment you can put these panels on your ceiling and have a sky view!

I picked the laser robot vaccum. I love the idea of a robot having to clean up everything while i just sit there and watch it. This would have to be my favorite by far.

I like the Ethanol Fireplace.It's really helpful if you don't want to install gas lines, you can just put it anywhere in the room and it works.

i like the idea of changing the electric outlets to USB Ports since most phones already come with a USB cord. and plus its a good idea incase you loose the "middle man".

I liked the article about replacing traditional, two-plug outlets with one traditional plug and two USB ports. This would make it easier to charge my phone.

i really like the idea of being able to tell a bathtub to fill up with just the right temperature of water when you just wake up. how incredibly convenient!!

I like the laser vacuum because it already knows what has been cleaned and what needs to be cleaned. And, when it is done it returns to its "home" base!

I like the idea of the smart house A LOT!!!The concept of it reminds me of the disney movie,"Smart House," and that movie always fascinated me how it did almost everything for you plus some really cool stuff you can do around the house. Its also safe and efficent so thats always a plus side!!

The sky factory is awesome, just because now you can have a beatufiul view in a crappy apartment, as well as if you like to stare into the sky or admire the clouds i mean it would be awesome you dont even have to leave the comfort of your bed or couch.
i would love to have the virtual views. its a nice view to look at and be relaxed elsewhere. it’s basically a digital window, comprised of an HD LCD monitor. you can put the monitor view anywhere. i so want it lol

I love that Laser Vacuum. The laser allows the Neato robot vacuum to make a map of your house, from the couch to the front door, so it knows what it’s already cleaned and what still needs to be done. For everyone that is lazy this is the best thing EVER. You know becuase Princesses dont have to lift a finger(:

I like the idea of having a little WALL-E in the home to help out(more like do all of) the chores or go get me a drink or even lasier press buttons on the remote to help defend arthritis! I chose WALL-I because he was nice in his movie and the robots look like the evil ones off of i-robot.

i chose the idea of voice and gesture and that we are gradualy moving more and more away from physical buttons on many objects we use. So i like the feature and good ides. i also think were getting more lazy as time flies haha

I love the idea of the smart house feature because I'm lazy and it would be nice to have a house that would prevent me from having to do all of that extra crap that I hate so much to do. Now all the smart geeks have to do with is come up with something that can take out the trash for me...cuz cuz "AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT!".

I dont know what it is but when people say laser I think future. ya know what i mean? I feel like if you put a laser on something its automatically futuristic. So this laser robot vaccume is automatically supa fly! I mean they tried to make those roaming robot vacume things and they were kinda lame but all the sudden you slap a laser to it and I want one! I really like the Laser Robot Vacuum. It scans the room it has to clean and it knows where it has and hasnt been so it never misses a spot. Also, when it finishes the vacuum has a little gps in it that directs it back to its home base.
I like the heated driveway. The reason i like it is because nobody likes getting in a cold car during the winter or anytime at all. It would be amazing to wake up in winter to a nice warm car during the cold.

I like the laser robot vaccum. Its able to scan the room and clean it of any dust. It basically turns the place its cleaning into a map that it remorizizes. It is really awesome and i would love to have one. My dream to have one.

I do think the laser robot vaccuum is one to behold. It scans the area into a grid-like map and cleans what needs to be cleaned and recognizes what is not trash, unlike the other robot vaccuum that you all know of that uses a sensor to stop itself and go somewhere else when it hits something.

the thing i liked the most was the laser robot vacuum, because it vacuums by itself and it will return to its "home" which would be my closet when is done,that way you wont have to get up! amazing!!

The smart house seems extremely swag. To be honest it may be the most swag thing I've ever seen. It would run like a computer and overall make things more efficient and swag. This is swag we've never seen before, house swag.

I really like the Sonos Entertainment System. It's basically a system where you have speakers in various places throughout your home. You can play a song in one room or how many ever you'd like. You can even play different songs in different rooms! I babysit for a family that has this system and it is truly AWESOME! I can play classical music for the baby asleep in her room and sing-a-long disney songs for the toddlers in the living room! I LOOVVVEEE this thing!

I like the idea of replacing the 2 plug outlet with 1 traditional plug and 2 usb chargers. It would be much easier to charge my phone that way.

I think the Sonos entertainment system is really cool, because Sonos allows you to wirelessly connect the speakers all over the house and divide them into zones so you can play the same music throughout the house, say if you’re throwing a party, or divide it up with different music in different rooms.

I really like the "Levinton's Combination USB charger." With this charger I'm able to plug my phone directly into the electricity outlet!

It's a robot that cleans your house but adds a laser to their little robot vacuum. After it's done it goes back to its home place!

On the cool thoughh, that plam tree sky ceiling light pieces are off the chain! It'd be super dope to make em where when you turn off the lights they changed to night clouds and stars with a night theme!

Being from a place where it snowed a lot, I think the Heated Driveway would be super advantageous. Especially if the driveway has ice on it, because that is a pain. It wouldn't really be useful in Texas, but still.

i like the smart house because it can help with simple stuff like a warm bath and more security and it can help with great things like laundry and gas controls. Makes the house more confortable and safer! :D

The smart house is ahh-mazing!! The feature i liked best was the tub.. maybe that sounds strange, but think about it! A tub, that you can command! I wouldnt have to start my own water. On the way home, i could use my phone to start my tub: lots of bubbles.. super hot!Presto! I get home and my water is ready! I love it

Laser Robot Vacuum, this would really help for today. It's really cool and easier that it analyzes the view of the whole house to get the job done. Either way my mom would still make me go over, but it would be less.

The Baby Rocker from mamaRoo is awesome!! It is basically just a rocker for a baby, but not just any rocker. This bad boy has several motions like a "rock a by" motion, a car motion and you can even set it to duplicate your motions. It has three toys over head, and speakers in the side that plays "white noise" such as nature sounds or heart beat sounds. You can even hook it up to any MP3 player and let your baby listen to special lullabys or even rock out to your favorite song! I'm buying this when I have a baby for sure! :)

I thought the idea of the Smart Grid Appliances is great because everything in your house would be so much more simple and "interconnected".I like that you would be able to control your house from a smartphone, something that is always with us.

I pick the floating homes. It wouldnt work, because 1. the idea was unpopular, and 2. if bad weather came, it could destroy your home. It was a poor idea.
