So how about some more new phone *sparkley* stuff?
I'm going to show a few videos. The ideas in these videos are just CONCEPT (which by the way is defined as a general thought or notion). That means they're in the IDEA stage. Will some of the technology ever make it to our every day phones? Maybe. Maybe some piece or part of it.
What do I think, you ask? I so dig that laser keyboard. I could see that actually coming into existence and me running out to be the first one to get it!
So your directions for this week are to watch the videos and pick one of the features to talk about. How would you put it to use in your everyday life?

I think that the line phone is the coolest one out of all of them but it seems like it would be ridiculously expensive and as far as putting multiple ones together, it seems cool but how many of your friends are going to be able to get one too? Implying that you can first.

Would they kyeboard really work like that? I feel like they might be exaggerating their capabilities a a bit, plus if feel like it would be wierd to try to type on a flat surface. It would be hard to type without feeling actual keys.

I really like the iPhone 5 concept video. I think that it seemed the most applicaple to modern life because it builds off something we already have. The new technologies -- laser keyboard, holographic display, incredibly thin design -- seem very plausible and useful. It seems like a serious possibility and one that I would I actually invest money in. A laser keyboard would make typing and overall internet use much easier.
The Japanese phone is the second video seemed very unique and interesting, but it was so different that it seemed hard to use. I didn't like the fact that it was controlled by certain points on the sides because they seem too sensitive and confusing. I did like the share and PC features, though, although what are the chances of having the same exact phone as two or three of your friends, and them wanting to use the internet at the same time as you?

I loved the iPhone 5 because of its laser keybord its pretty awesome and would be of many advantages to have it. I loved the line phone thought! The fact that we can cancel a message by simply stopping the line and sending it back left me speechless... :O

I think that the Iphone 5 is a great phone but I like the line concept phone way better cause you can stop a message from sending. Like if you sent a message to the wrong person or was sending the wrong thing.

I love the line phone and would totally get one :) But I'm pretty sure that if it didnt have any buttons of some sort, that I would get lost and forget where to touch it to make everything work. Lol would anyone else have that problem? Ohhh, and the keyboard thing for the iPhone 5 is probably the coolest thing ever!

the line phone looks pretty weird for the simple fact that you only have two sides to browse with (on each screen) and when you flip it you have a whole nother screen,which is too much. You may have a call on one screen and a text on the other and if you in public tryin to get to both you'll look pretty dumb.

I really like the line phone concept. It has a really good new feeling to it and I like a lot of the features such as the stop the message feature by just stopping the line and sending it back cancels the message. The multi-screen feature was very cool but somewhat impractical (still very cool though).
The Iphone 5 seems boring to me it just a smaller thinner. I wouldn’t buy it because its way to thin and I have a bad feeling I would break it. I love the laser keyboard idea but not on the Iphone 5 I would prefer it on the line phone which would make texting easier on it.

The laser keyboard would be really great, you could type faster and it would feel more like a computer. I like the idea of the line phone, especially combining them to make bigger screens, but if the phone is at least partially controlled by the line on the side, it seems like it would be difficult to hold it without accidentally doing something.

The phones i like the most are the line phone and the holographic phone. Line phone is throwed i wish i kud just go back and edit my message before it sent fully like that phone lets you do. then the holographic phone is crazy too because u can just tap it and the holographic screen pops up to show the video or what ever your doin TUTT-1ST
I like the re-editing on the line phone because a lot of times people say stuff that they wish they could change and with the line phone, you can change what you say. The laser keyboard on the iPhone 5 would be really cool, I get tired of typing on my keyboard on my phone. And it just looks cool.

id use the lazer keyboard for the i phone and i love the line phone, i want it! the fluffer phone looks kinds dumb so did the ondo. the one that looked like an x-box controller looked pointless. but the one that looked like a dragster off of starwars looked cool.

I really like the line phone and everything about it especcialy the share mode, I like the concept it has of PC mode and if it can run photoshop then it must have some good specs ,but how much will it cost to buy just one line phone , or however many to use PC mode
i like the hollagraph effect but the phone itself looks so small and breakable maybe its jus me

This week's phones look a little less rediculous than last week's.
The concepts look real, useful, and cool. "Phones of the Future".
My favorite would have to be one of the LGs... Or the Line phone. It looked very real. I think that would be the phone to serve many purposes, and be the Most useable.
I hope that soon enough, we will take this new technology hand in hand, and progress.
Why is it that other countries always have cooler technology?

You pointed out that it would be hard to type on a keyboard without feeling the keys, but that's the way the iphone's touchscreen works now. It's actually not difficult, your fingers remember where the keys are.
The line phone was okay but I didn't really care for their minimalistic screens. Also the bracelet type phones are cool looking but I wouldn't feel safe wearing it around where somebody could just snatch it off of you.

okay i agree with all of you, these phones are awesome!! but why make an iphone 5 to look exactly like the other iphones we have? i do have to admit though, i liked the lazer keyboard.i didnt really like the holographic pop outs though. that would give me a headache to look at something but at the same time be looking at the "world" behind it because its see through.
the line phone is cool but too complicated. its just like the iphone except for the name. its got everything the iphone has except the concept of sharing (which is no point if you dont have more than one phone)whats cool though is the reediting of messaging. that was pretty cool.
The iphone 5 keyboard system is super cool. I like the fact that the stuff actually slides of the screen like a projector. The line phone is awesome. I like the combination of connecting alot of them to make a bigger screen and one as the controller that'svery futuristic.

The hologram keyboard is one of the coolest things i have seen in a while. The build-in projecter is a great thing because most times I watch a video everyone wants to watch so the projecter will help stop crowding around my phone.
The line phone is also cool just because of the abiliity to recall messages, everyone needs that.

I didnt like the line phone. But the iPhone 5 with the laser keyboard was really cool. But I atually wonder if it would work well. But the downside to the iPhone 5 is that it was clear and very breakable looking, not a good idea for me.

well from the videos, there wasnt a phone i disliked, but the iphone with laser keyboard is so cool. it would be way easier to type. also the line phone has the really cool music editing effects and then the eiffel tower phone has lights, like thats awesome.

I agree with Mrs. L the laser keyboard is awesome but I think I like the Line phone with the message recall is cooler! It is awesome to be able to do that because i mess up on text all the time. My favorite is the Line phone and its also cool that you only touch the outside of the phone so you dont get the screen all gunky with your finger germs. I want the Line phone to come out soon.

I like the phone with the laser that has the holographic screen and keyboard. It seems like video games have shown what technology should look like. Area-51 for the PS2 looks just like it. I also like the phone that goes as a screen across the face. If thermal technology were possible to use, the military could use it as a heat tracker for enemy forces. Thus adding not only a new cool phone, but also a new militaristic concept for Justice.

When I saw the line phone, I was seriously blown away. Whoever came up with those ideas for a phone should get a mega raise. The fact that you need multiple of these phones together inorder to perform certain tasks, means more phones bought and loads of money for the makers. I can totallsee this device ctching on quickly and becoming the coolest new thing in technology since the iphone.

i will have the laser keyboard and holographic screen ...i will have it even if it kills me ! also the line cellphone if that is ever out in stores ill be camping out to get it . a touch screen that reacts quickly and is highly sensitive so wont require much sliding like the iphone. yessssssssssssss!!!!

These concept phones were looking nice. I especially enjoyed the iPhone 5 concept and the concept Line phone. Some of the concpets on the the third video were cool too. The functionality of the phones simply captured my eyes.
Some problems concerned me. The thinness of the iPhone seemed a little too sketchy. And how clear can the laser keyboard and holographic display will be? It might seem like a nice idea, but it might not work as well they say it will. Also, the line phone had cool concepts such as the video games and the connectivity between phones. It seems like a hard task to have everyone with the same phone so some abilities are limited. Finally, the third video had some concepts that looked like "today's" phones. Just because they look cool, but it all depends on the job they can pull off.

This new iphone has really convinced me that the iphone is good buy. I really enjoyed the iPhone 5 video (I'm a huge fan of all things Apple). I'm curious as to how they would do the laser keyboard. The only one I've seen is on ThinkGeek, which I saw recently, and while the device for the laser keyboard was small, it wasn't small enough to be a tiny component inside a slim phone like the iPhone. If they've already figured out how to make it so small I'd be very impressed. As to the holographic display, I do not see how it would work without something to project onto. Light waves/particles don't just stop in the middle of the air, they keep travelling until they hit a substance that they are unable to penetrate. At any rate, we'll know for sure what of the video was real and what was not on October 4th or 5th and it shall be released a few weeks after the unveiling.
