Howdy!
The iPhone5 has been out a hot minute. Let's talk about some of the new features.
Contrary to popular belief, I am NOT an early technology adopter. I spent 16 years in the real world doing Graphic Design at a shop that was an Adobe Authorized Service Provider. That meant that every time Adobe had an update I got the programs several months early and I got to help figure out what was wrong and make suggestions to Adobe.
Translation: I got buggy, janky programs and I spent hours on the phone with software developers (technical nerds) explaining to them why certain features weren't working in the real world.
This experience led me to my current thinking: If I'm going to PAY for a piece of technology I want it to work correctly. The first time. I don't want to be the person on the phone with technical support.
Therefore, when new stuff emerges I have a tendency to hang back. I am not the person waiting in line at the Apple store at midnight. *coughcoughCaymoncoughcough*
So for blog credit this week you will need to pick a glitch and tell why it would irritate you. Alternatively, if you HAVE the new iPhone5 you can tell us which one of the new features is your favorite, or anything else you'd like to share about it.

i think the gliche that would irritate me the most is the battery problem because i would want a battery that would last a long time.

I think the thing that would bug me about the new I-Phone was the scratches on the phone when you pull it out of the box. The reason this would bug me is the fact that I spent a lot of money on something thats already damaged, so I'm not getting the full worth of the phone that I paid for.

The battery life and the YouTube removal thing would bother me. I want my battery to last a while and we already have YouTube on the phone, why make us have to download an app? Why not just update the one already on the phone?

The gliche that would irritate me the most is the purple flare when a picture is taken. I like to take pictures and a flare is messing it up!

Small battery copasity drives me CRAZY!!!!!!!!! My old Iphone did that and now the screen is coming off so you can imagine how angry I get with my phone.

What i would hate more about the iphone 5 is that they took off youtube and google maps that is useful to all teens and adults, also the 5 is real sensitive and theres alot of clumsy people that can damage it ot yours so that also the IOS6 is nothing id expect it to be it came out to qucik with just a little bit of changes and uneccesarry changes.

I think the thing that would annoy me the most would be that it scratches very easily and how the charger changed.. I wouldnt be able to connect it to my iHome without an adapter.

i dont like the fact that they changed the charger input. now all the items that was made for the original charger input will have to be replaced. #Loss

The glitch that i do not like is, how the youtube app is no longer on the phone...you have to buy it. The only good thing is that it is free when you buy it! when you want to watch a video, its hard to get used to the new version of youtube, than just using the original version.

This phone is too easy to scratch up. I always drop my phone so if i were to drop my Iphone5 if would probably break so that would be 300 dollars wasted!!!

All I have to say is that I woudnt waste a dime of my hard earned money on the new Iphone 5. Times are hard and all of this mania over a stupid phone is just a hot mess. One of the main issues that urk my nerves is the fact that iOS problems with the phone mean that YouTube will not be included. Oh and dont get me started on Google Maps because that just goes to show that they didnt spend much time on making sure that people would be satisfied with their product. The iPhone5 is clearly a disgrace to all the other generations of iPhones and Im sure that Steve Jobs wouldnt be happy with this at all!

to me the glitch that would make me upset most, is the fact that maps isnt working as well a it should, it should have been released as a beta prior or at least later with the nugs fixed.

Something that'd irritate me would be the battery. I like texting, surfing the web, playing games, talking on the phone, and I usually travel a lot so I need a battery that could last me a long time.

Something that will irritate me the most would be the scratches because you're paying $300 dollars if you use your plan. It's suppose to be high quility and luxorious. I would kill Apple if I recieved a scratched iPhone.

im just saying that if i just spent a whole bunch of money on a brand new phone and it came to me all scratched up i would probably flib a table or something.i understand that eventually the phone is gunna get scratched. my phone for example is an iphone 3 and i have had it from two years and it is covered in scratches, but thats ok because its an old phone and i have a tendancy to drop/throw things but still i want at least one day of a scratch free phone that i can rub in my friends faces. honestly they are makeing millions why cant they spend a few extra dollers and send me a phone without scratches. if there are scuffs on my phone i want it to be my fault....

I think the fact that the new back scratches easy would irritate me. I drop my phone alot, I even throw it when im mad and that phone would be torn up in a day.

The thing that would annoy me the most would probably be the easily scratched surface. I keep several things in my pockets and dont want scratches everywhere on my phone. And if i pay as much as most people did for and it came out of the box with a scratch me and apple would have a definate problem.

Listen, it takes a lot of time, money and hard, stressful work to create something like the iPhone 5. Yeah yeah it may have glitches NOW, but it was just released, it needs time to be updated to fix all the glitches and compatability with the network. I understand most of you hate iPhones and prefer Androids, but the Android also had glitches when it first came out, i know because i had one. Now back to the topic at hand, one thing i see that is currently not working with the iPhone 5 is the iOS 6 features. I mean i know it stills needs updating, but it could've at least came out with a new feature up front. I'm just saying, but not hating -_- (stares at every iPhone complainer and complainer's everywhere).

Something that I would hate about the new iPhone is the battery life and the fact that it can get scratched up easily. You would think that after years and years of making phones, they'd have been able to make the battery life on the phone last a longer amount of time. I know I hate it when I'm in the middle of using my phone, with no charger in sight, and it dies! It's extremely irritating how quickly the battery can be used up. Also, the fact that when you waited in line for hours and finally got the phone just to find that it is scratched! When you buy your phone it isn't supposed to be scratched. It's understandable to get a couple scratches here and there over time but not right when you open the box!

I think they messed up with not just the iphone 5 but the ios 6 since they got rid of youtube, messed up safari by making it more glitchy, and by getting rid of google's almost bug free maps for apple's new 3d, yet buggy, maps.

The new maps app for IOS6 would probably be one of the worst glitches. I wouldn't want to be given wrong directions like many people are reporting so far. Maps need to be reliable.
the glitch i dont like at all is the new charger output. sure its reversible, but that means if you lose the charger, you have to buy a new charger, and not use the past generation's wire.

Whay irritates me most about all iPhones in general is the fragileness of its design and how easy it is to break. Also, I'd like a map that works.
I think the thing that would irritate me the most is the fact that it is very susceptible to scratches and scuffs. If I spent that much on a brand new phone, I would want it to arrive in perfect condition and preferably stay like that for awhile.

I have the iPhone 5 and it works worderful for me. Although the IOS 6 update by apple is a huge disappointment in my own opinoin due to the fact Apple stopped working with google, took off YouTube, and created there own jank maps app. Love Mr. Cowart in 8th period.

what would irritate me about the new iphone would be the fact that the maps are not on point. many people are giving the new iphone a poor rating due to the map problems. i definitely think that apple needs to start thinking more about bettering their products before coming out with new ones that bring more problems.

The glitch with the new map app would just drive me up the wall!The Google app was SO much better because it actually gave you accurate directions. When using the iOS6 map app, it is not convenient because it will tend to leave out directions or take you to the wrong location.

My boyfriend has the iphone 5 and so far there hasnt been any problem but a glitch which app just made an update to ios6 to fix the glitch but other than that it has not done anything what people have said.
