Today I want to tell you a little secret . . .
There's this THING that starts today in Las Vegas. It's huge. It's called CES = Consumer Electronics Show. Every piece of electronics technology that we use has debuted at this show in the past. Think about that for a second. That iPhone in your pocket? Yep. Apple showed it off there. That flat-panel TV in your living room at home. Yep, that too. It's a HUGE deal in the electronics world and a gogillion (well maybe that's an overestimate) people converge on Las Vegas this time every year to take a look at the newest electronic innovations.
So go take a look and see what CES is about. For credit this week tell me if you'd want to go (or not) and why. That's TWO things: Would you go? Why or why not? Read today, blog Thursday. Thursday Edit: CLEARLY if you want to go to CES the reason is to see emerging technology. PLEASE BE MORE SPECIFIC!!!! Which technology are you most interested in?
P.S. In your grades you will see that Blog 13 is missing. That's the one we did right before break when the internet was down. Most of you didn't get to blog. I trashed the grade.

I would definitely go to the CES thing if i could it looks really interesting and so much fun. you get to see what's coming out in the new year before most of the population does and you get to meet new people

I would want to go. The reason why I would want to go is you get to see all the advances in technology and you get to learn about new technology.

I wouldnt really go to the ces thing. I mean its really cool but im not really that into technology. I will just wait till it comes out in stores and becomes popular.

Personally, I wouldn't prefer to go to CES. I would much rather be outdoors. Now, if it was like a school trip or something I wouldn't mind going just to check it out. But, I wouldn't go on my own.

I would go to the CES, because i would like to see how all of the technology works and if it is actually worth buying before I pay for it. I would also like to go to see the 2014 Chevy Impala.

I would go to CES becuase i would like to play with everything...i mean..it would be like a playground you know,Becuase not only do we not have anything like that here but..i have bad A.D.D. so everything distracts me...so i would be in there for forever, all that shiny stuff!! In my opinion it would be a great Experience just because of not only would i see new technology but also learn what its for and what it does and what not. i would want to go because you know it will give me some information if i were to buy one of the pieces up there you know i wouldnt want to pay what like 24,999 for a tv that might not work or is very sensitive.

Just being 100% real I really dont care too much about technology conventions so no I would not go to the CES Convention. But I really do like the Android Tablet so if that little evil voice inside of me told me that going to the CES Convention would get me out of school for a few days...well then lets say Id be deuces, sayonara,adios,and au revoir in a heartbeat:)

I would/wouldn't like to go because it would be cool to see how high definition the TV's are but, then again it would be crowded and eventually boring. Also, I'd probably take offence to the nerds pushing me to get a picture of an upcoming cellphone.

I dont think I would really like going to the CES thing. I mean when it comes to technology I kinda just get what looks cool. That would explain why I have a green Xbox instead of a white one. Also I feel like I would get super depressed going there. I mean I would be walking around with my iphone thinking I'm the coolest person in the world and then there are going to be people with all these super cool hightech phones and I'll look like a loser with my phone... basically I dont want a bunch of computer dorks laughing at me...

I would for sure go to CES because it just looks straight up swag. Like in all seriousness I'm in to videogame technology and this just looks like the most swag place to be for videogames and what not. So my final conclusion is yes, this place is swag and that's just how it is. Not S.W.A.G. just swag :D

I would definetally love to go to the CES 2013 because it seems really fun and cool! You get to see all this really awesome new and improved technology before it even gets out to stores! I would go specifically to go check out all the cell phones and the Pebble Watch. It can sync to your phone to display incoming messages and caller information. You can also download music on it and play it like an iPod!

I'm not that into technology like other people(tech's) that are excited to go are, but i'll wait to see the technology on ads or hear bout them. The technology item that would be interesting is the soft headphones so that maybe it would help me with my sleep apnea.
