Lasers are really just a single focused wavelength of light - so focused that it can cut through solid objects in some cases. These are being considered for military use as weapons. Personally, I'd love to see the military start using light sabers.

The Military Exo-Skeleton seems like it would really give the U.S. an edge in combat. It increases strength, speed, agility, and protection. In a way it's like an Iron Man suit. If World War III if ever breaks out, this could be the technology that puts us ahead of the North Koreans and Iranians.

The Smart Fuel can be used whenever a soldier is on a mission and he needs fuel. It's lighter for them to carry and easier to use than any regular fuel. It also doesn't run out so fast.

The exo skeleton body army stuff was pretty cool to me. And it also helps the soldiers carry their weapons and move faster. If there's any conflict or another war the U.S will be in, we can ensure that our troops will be ready with these suits

The horse-like LS3 robots may look a little strange, but I believe they can serve more of a purpose than just being another gun. With their deployment on or near the front lines, they could be given medical equipment that would allow them to stabilize wounded soldiers on their way to a proper medical facility. These robots have the potential to save lives.

Military robots are used to take the most dangerous tasks that a human being who require on the battle field all through this robotic machine. It is defiantly beneficial for the military force. This robot is used to take the place of a military soldier upon a field in the army.

The Military Exo-Skelton will give the U.S an edge in combat. It increases strength, speed, agility, and protection. In my opinion with this invention we're ahead of North Korea.

The lasers that they will have in space will have the ability to shoot a rocket down that was launched from earth. So lets say North Korea finally shoots a nuke, we can laser shoot it our of the air while it is in space.

There is a giant artillery gun that is mounted on the back of a military truck, and it shows rounds that are half the size of a full grown man. This monster of a gun is able to hit targets up to 20 miles away! It uses all kinds of rounds, cluster, frag, hollow point, and explosive tip! By far one of the coolest artillery weapons I've ever seen

One of the technologies used by the military was, this like skeleton suit that is used, so that the soldier can go faster and might be more convenient for the user.

Exoskeletons in the military would allow infantry units be able to run faster and with some, they have jetpacks and would allow men to fly. this would be perfect for recon missions and other such high priority missions.

I think the Exo-Skeleton would be an advantage because I think of master chief from halo when I have to visualize armor, and he saved earth from aliens so I think that an army of exo-skeletons would be cheat in modern warfare. The exo-skeleton is either sensitive or controlled by muscle movements which means the exo-skeleton is build for strength while one controlled by neurons is more of a durability suit.(Kadence 2nd)

The Exo-skeleton I thought was the coolest military technology. Because it will increase in so much like strength and durability in how long it will last also endurance for us if we ever go into another war against North Korea. So I think this is by far the most needed invention.

I really liked the directed-energy beam because it's proven that it can only penetrate about 1/16in into the skin so it'll cause a lot of pain to the target without causing any fatal wounds

I thought the new laser technology could be useful and very powerful, its laser beam can be up to 1000 times stronger than a standard flashlight bulb

In the military there a system of technology that can be used to take the place of human soldiers while gathering information. One of the soldiers has even stated that soon enough they would take the place of human soldiers.

The military robots seem like a pretty good idea to me. The fact that they can do the dangerous tasks that the humans normally do is awesome to me. If a robot gets destroyed they can always make another one, that's way better than someone losing their life. I also think the Exo-Skeleton is a good idea. This increases strength during combat, helps carry weapons, & it gives more protection.

Wars can now be fought from space by a program developed by the air force and there might be a new division to direct the operation.

The Exo-Skeleton grants the soldier with higher mobility and strength, but are very expensive and weigh 150 pounds each.

The Millennium Falcon and the Enterprise used laser weapons in great fictional battles to conquer or defend the universe. All of these weapons used directed energy, in the form of a laser beam, to disable or kill an opponent. The Future Combat Systems (FCS) initiative is a massive overhaul of military technology intended to prepare the U.S. Army for modern warfare. because it actually comprises 18 separate systems. Each system is a type of unit, such as an unmanned artillery vehicle, a manned tank or a command and control vehicle.

the military exo skeleton seems like a good idea because its a human with amore power and harder to die and if you have seen iron man its basically one of does suits pretty amazing.

So apparently the army has been trying to perfect a exoskeleton kind of based off of the infamous Iron Man suit. They have been building these prototypes since the 60s and have come up with some really fantastic results, but it is still not perfect for our military and government to use. Fun fact: the most weight that one of these suits has ever been able to carry is 200 pounds. They need more improvement if they ever want to lift cars and other giant debris.

I Remember The Outer Space Agreement How You Cant Distribute Weaponry into space and the one on the Exoskeleton armor like one part said that they've made one that can withstand up to 200ib. for a good few hours

The exoskeleton body is very cool in my opinion and will give us a high advantage in wars. This amazing military stuff helps increase your strength, your speed, and to be more agile in movements and well better protect you than any kind of armor. In conclusion, I think we'll be far ahead than North Korea in inventions and have will have higher percentage in winning wars.

One thing is saw was that they were mentioning was exo-skeletons. They said it could be in practical use soon, but not as great as Iron Man's. Also the exoskeletons could maybe include some kind of cool gadgets like jetpacks and stuff like that.

The super battery seems like a very useful thing in military because it can charge all the things with out it weighting down the solder by 20 pounds, also another one was the robot bugs sounds like a great idea when they come up with the robot because they bugs have to much excess weight on them and cannot function properly, it will also help with surveillance without putting the life of soldiers at risk

The military is starting to take robots to war. There are many different types of robots, they can be small or as big as a tank. They use this robots for missions that a human can do as well and this awesome because is better to lose money if they destroy the robot rather than losing someone's life.

The military robot interested me. Its cool how it can be worked to where instead of the human/soldiers going into somewhere that they know something will happen, they can use these robots. The robots can get damaged or whatever, but there's nothing to it because they can make more!! Also, its saving a human life:)

The laser weapon technology is used by harnessing energy and using it in weapons like guns or even airbourne weapons like bombs. This could be a very effective but dangerous factor during war.

The exoskeleton armor can lift 2 to 3 times the weight of an unassisted human and is useful to those with spinal damage or other physical disability. Aaaaand Iron Man is the best.

the military robot was the most interesting thing to me they are think to replace real people with robot to take down bomb so people will stay out of harms way that why it made me be interesting because people wouldn't have to die and instead of losing a soldier they can lose a robot they can replace that way it makes the military not have to pay a lot for medical expenses that why I think that is very interesting

the exo-skeleton seems really cool because instead of enhancing some unthinking machine it enhances you plus I feel like pretty soon it could be controlled with you not in it which is good because then you could send "people" to war without losing lives because of people it would be robots controlled by people.

the military robot can be to take a persons place when there is a really dangerous mission. "The U.S. military has been developing robotic systems for all sorts of jobs for years now, and some of them are even on the front lines in Iraq."

The Pain Beam is pretty cool it essentially heats the surface of the person's skin to drive them away which is a good thing to use in future wars.

As the article said, "If our future operates the way it did in the Terminator films, we might use time travel to assassinate future military leaders before they rise to power. Or perhaps we'll actually wage full-blown wars across four dimensions, such as the Time War waged between the Time Lords and the Daleks of TV's 'Doctor Who.'" This would be really useful to not only the military, but also the general public. It seems like time travel technology would make many wars unnecessary and save countless lives (as long as what they say in movies about "irreversible devastation" from "tampering with the past" is complete BS and not actual fact, but even so it may be worth it).

Burn Cannon.
I was really interested in this because it could be used in crowd control and in modern warfare. Nowadays, the "enemy" is mixed in with innocent civilians, so you can not just shoot into the crowd hoping you don't hit a kid. This new cannon basically burns the skin with UV rays enough to make everyone leave the area, chasing the "bad guys" away. This is much more effective and, in my opinion, better than trying to shoot the targets or evacuating the innocents. You could use it to disperse a crowd and make it much easier to pick off the targets one by one and with less risk of hurting civilians.
PLUS SIDE: trivial side effects. After long term exposure, the human lab rats only showed minimal skin sensitivity.

I think the lasers are awesome especially since they travel at the speed of light. Who would want to fight someone who has laser weapons?NOONE!

The NLOS cannon interested me because of the effectiveness of the weapon from 18 miles away.

The robots like the Dragon Runner will save many lives by detecting IEDs. Gen. Robert Cone, who is in charge of the Army's Training and Doctrine Command thinks that machines like these robots and drones could replace 1/4 of the soldiers by 2030.

Virtual reality training could really lessen the cost of training. Also allowing for specific situations to be tried without real world set up.

With the exo skeleton thingy, a soldier could lift some three or four times the weight they would normally would need to lift, which is great until the enemy starts manufacturing tanks three to four times heavier than normal to combat this. Still, pretty useful for general combat situation.
