6. A vision of crimes in the future:

This was a very interesting video that discussed the negativities between technology used by terrorist to kill and criminals to commit crimes. The "openness" on the internet allows terrorists to have an advantage over their victims.

5. Robots that fly....and cooperate.

This video was about how aerial robots are helpful with first response, construction, transportation, and for search and rescue. Although they have a limited size it is still amazing how fast and how well they can function.

1. This video was about mach 20 and the future of flying technology and of technology in general. Also, an electronic hummingbird was shown off.

The video I watched was number 6, A Visions of Crimes in the Future. It talked about how bad guys such as terrorist or drug lords can use the technology we have to their advantage. He talks about how the Cartel has set up their own cell phone network that's encrypted so people can't catch on. He also talks about how the terrorist held up some place and that 10 people shutdown a place of 20 million. Then he says something about how computers can be hacked and the ps3 hacking scandal in 2010 (which he was informed wrong about).

The video I picked was about military robots and the future of war. They hit on a topic that soon or later the military will have robots fighting the war instead of soldiers.

1. From Mach 20 To A Humming birds

The woman in the video describes how her company is slowly processing things that can help us in the world, like prosthetic arms, and drones that replicate a hummingbird that can fly from New York to LA in 11 seconds.

1. Will drone save us or destroy us?

I thought it was really cool, like the hummingbird bird prototype was kind of a show off. The general part of the whole thing was really amazing.

In the video I watched, officials in Nepal are using drones to scout out their wildlife parks and keep track of all their different types of animal species and prevent poaches from illegally killing them. Now these same men are inventing newer and more efficient drones to use and sell to many other countries in Asia, Europe, and South America.

I watched a vision of crime in the future and it talked about how as advancements both in gadgets and biotechnology were made the terrorists and crimminals of th world advanced with it and sbout how the public's safety could not be left to others but had to be undertaken by the citizens themselves because its also up to us to help protect ourselves.

I watched the video over future military technology's and the demonstration was very interesting. Drones help save lives but our soldiers but when drones are more common than war isn't as scary because we would no longer be afraid because humans wont be the ones fighting.(Kadence 2nd)

1. Will drones save us or destroy us.

This video was interesting because it talked about how a flaying robot can be the size of a hummingbird and look just like it to. It also talked about how a plane can fly Mach 20 and go from New York to Los Angeles in about 4 seconds.

I watched A Visions of Crimes in the Future and it was a lot more factious than I thought it would be. It explained how bad people such as terrorist and drug lords can use our advanced technology to their own advantage.

Number 6 A vision of crimes in the future. Criminals have made their own cell towers. Terrorist keep watch on everything and everyone and kept track of how many people they killed. They make robots that will kill people for them.3D printers you can print weapons. There is no system that hasn't been hacked. They can also make diseases. Everything in the USA is way to open for terrorist!

The video I watched was "What's Wrong With What We Eat". Basically it's about the United States being the most unhealthiest country in the world. It talks about how parents need to feed their kids better and how schools need to feed students better. In the world we live in now, the life spans of young people are becoming shorter & shorter due to unhealthy eating. More & more kids are becoming obese & no one is doing anything to stop it.

2. Meet The Robots For Humanity

This video was about a man named Henery Evens. This man was living an amazing life until August 28th 2002. He grew up in St Louis, his father was a lawyer and his mother was an homemaker. At home he had six other rowdy siblings. Henery went to Noredam university and graduated with degrees in accounting. Later on he earned a degree at Sandfort university, soon after he married his high school sweet heart and had four children. He became an officer and bought his first home on September 13, 2001. Eight months later after they moved in Henery suffered a terrible strokes caused by birth defeats. Over night he went through some strange mutation changes but with the support of his family he decided life was still worth living. He became interested with technology that could help the disabled.

Terrorists are using technology to kill people and I think its really scary.
Also some guy weaponized the flu which is just a terrible idea and he was super proud of himself.
And people can 3D print guns.
Basically nothing is safe anymore.

The one that I had most interested in was 6.A Vision of crimes in the future- its about how like terrorists and criminals ,like the drug leaders like in Mexico, can use the advance technologies that we are developing each day to their advantage.

The video I watched was about how the rapid development of technological advances could potentially be used to benefit violence and crime. Marc Goodman explains about the terrorist attack on Mumbai in where a small ten man army was able to cause havoc and kill/wound hundreds of men, women, and children. The main point he had made was that the terrorists were able to pick out their targets accurately by just "Googling" the victims' names and it showed their Facebook profiles, their background, etc. Marc Goodman says that although the technology we have now can benefit us in so many ways, we have to remember that it can also be used against us through organized crime and violence.

4. A Drove's eyes view of conservation
This video is about how the drove's uses and how it helps. There are 4 differences of conservation drone. which are model aircraft+ autopilot +payload +software. The main thing about this video is the drove fly itself and it depends on how you fly them. It can fly high. especially camera traps used for taking a picture of where the animals hidden and Kadio collars used for the moving of animals. Drove can stay in the air about 40 or 60 minutes.

This was interesting to me because the terrorist built their own operation center across the border in Pakistan where they could monitor the BBC, (local stations), also internet & mobile devices, it monitors how many people they have killed, and the attacks etc.

I Found The The astounding athletic power of quadcopters very cool because the mans demo used hidden laptops and cameras and created algorithms that made the quadcopter able to be thrown into the air at ease and would stay still. i'll also like how he uses algorithms again to keep a pole stable even if he moves the copter

3. military robots

It's all well and good that we will eventually have robots fighting wars for us, but what happens when they become self aware? What happens when they realize that they don't like blowing each other up because the humans said so? Revolution, that's what.

14. How Arduino is open-sourcing imagination

I personally have a couple Arduinos (Arr-dwee-no). They really are pretty easy to use and to create some pretty cool stuff like they said in the video it has been used to make crazy things with salvaged parts or even create parts when used as the brain of a 3D printer. Best of all its open source so anyone can make, program, and adapt their own arduino.

Dale Dougherty's "We are makers" number 12 was really freakin' cool. He was talking about how everyone creates stuff, and a lot of really weird, really cool, but mostly really weird inventions people have made. Like the Sashimi opera thing that was like a car with a bunch those singing lobsters and fish on it rigged to sing and dance together. It was really neat-o. Also, there were these "electronic cupcakes" that people could ride around in that were hella cool... But still kinda weird. Also, American car brands need to calm down with their advertisements geez, everything was sponsored by a car dealership it's scary, the auto-pocalypse or something.

11. Nature vs. Humans:
This video talked about the footprint Man has on Earth and how over the past century we have dominated the planet's overall population of vertebrates. Although we are making an exponential amount of discovery in the scientific world, it's possible that our own numbers will push other species to extinction.

"A visions of crime in the future"

It makes me feel better to know that I am not the only cynical person in the world. I know that a lot of the technology that we have today can be used to do a lot of good, such as the pacemakers with access to the internet. But the same technology that allows a doctor to be able to give a life-saving shock to a patients heart from afar, will also allow criminals to hack into the internet and trigger the pacemaker when a jolt of electricity ISN'T needed, killing the person.
There will always be a darker side to all of our technological advancements.

The video I watch was "women, wartime and he dram of peace," the speaker is Zainab Salbi she mostly explain that's theirs two parts of war and that one parts is run by man and the other one is run by women that meany people rarely hear. It gives "backline" stories of women who keep everyday life going during conflicts, and calls for women to have a place at the negotiating table once fighting is over.

6.Robots that fly ... and cooperate

the video was about how two students have made a robot that they teach commands for whatever they want to do to the robot and they can teach them to fly back toward them when they come back, they taught where they could probably go right through a obstacle course, and the last thing they taught them to do was where they could go into a building and capture what it looks like from the inside of the building.

A vision of crimes in the future

In the video the narrator was speaking about how crime would work in the future. For example, people would be able to make their own viruses with a 3-D printer. People would also be able to make narcotics and illegal weapons. He also discussed how a person could rob a million people in a few seconds by hacking an online server. That's some of the ways crime will be different in the future.
